Martin’s role is to continue the development of the brand in the UK, helping establish Home Instead as the UK''s most admired care company and as an employer of choice within the sector. Martin is an active member of Business in the Community''s Age at Work leadership team, championing the role of older workers. He also holds various trustee positions and is on the board of The Care Workers Charity, The Silver Line and Home Instead’s charity, the Bring Joy Foundation.
Fast forward to the care workforce of 2025 – what will it look like and how will we get there?
Our population is rapidly ageing and the need for care at home is on the rise – but how do we build our workforce in time to cater for this increase in demand? Martin Jones talks through the future of training and professionalising the sector in conjunction with a values-based approach to recruitment.
